Mom stayed up too late the night before, and she's all
tuckered out. So -- me being a '90s dad and all -- I take the
little one on a father/daughter date to go see her second movie,
A Bug's Life
Did I enjoy the film? Maybe not quite as much as The Rugrats
Movie. It was more consistantly enjoyable, Rugrats had a lot of
peaks and valleys, entertainment-wise. Did Laura enjoy the film?
Yes, even more than the Rugrats (and she watches them everyday!)
I think Rugrats has some content that unsettles some of the
younger kids, although Bug's Life has a few moments at the end
too. I thought Laura might have gotten upset at the end when the
Bird got Hopper, but she didn't seem to bothered by it -- I don't
know if that's good or bad. The film -- good, go see it.
